This course will cover the fundamental principles of physiotherapy as well as the essential role that physiotherapist assistants play in the field. This program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform their role as occupational therapist assistants and physiotherapist assistants. PTA’s are primarily responsible for implementation of treatment plans to promote physical functioning or to enhance participation in activities of daily living for individuals with a wide range of health conditions.
Upon successful completion of this course, they become Physiotherapist Assistant. This provides employment opportunities in:
