Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic (EMT-P) also called an Ambulance Technician is a healthcare professional who provides advanced emergency care to critically ill and injured patients. EMT’s are trained to respond quickly to people in critical situation and provide pre-hospital care to them. EMT-P are much more skilled to perform procedures such as administering advanced medications, starting IV line, providing advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support etc. to the individuals in need.
The classroom program added along with practical hands-on training, as well as clinical observations during internships equip the student to handle all kinds of Medical and Trauma Emergencies like heart attack, burns, fractures, bleeding etc.
