Dialysis technicians are in charge of installing and maintaining dialysis machines, as well as monitoring patients having dialysis therapy and ensuring that the devices are operated safely and cleanly. Students are taught how to make dialysis fluids, as well as how to clean and store dialyzers for reuse.
This program's innovative curriculum will provide students with the necessary abilities to perform dialysis in critical situations such as renal dialysis and hemodialysis. Running safety checks for the machine parameters, notably the pressures, conductivity, and temperature, is part of our dialysis training. Students are also taught to be aware of the patient's reactions and to monitor venous and arterial pressures, as well as fluid removal and replenishment during the dialysis treatment.
